Our Approach

How our educators work

Our educators plan around what they see. Through the day they watch how each child plays and learns: what holds their attention, what they reach for, what they say. Those observations build each child's learning journey across the seven EYFS areas - WOW moments included - recorded and shared with you, so you always know how your child is getting on.

Three prime areas anchor each day: communication and language; physical development; and personal, social and emotional development. Alongside them sit four specific areas - literacy, mathematics, understanding the world, and expressive arts and design. These are not taught as separate lessons; they are woven through play, and our educators plan for each of them deliberately.

We are an English-language nursery led by our Director, Merlyn Philip. Every child has a Key Person who keeps a daily communication diary, and every educator is EYFS-qualified, first-aid trained, background-checked, and completes at least 30 hours of professional training a year. To see how it all fits together, read about our curriculum, or book a tour and meet the team in person.

EYFS-Qualified Educators

Our teachers and teaching assistants are qualified in, and experienced with, the Early Years Foundation Stage framework.

Paediatric First Aid

Carefully Vetted
